The Honest Company: Essentails Bundle Review

One of my new favorite subscription boxes is The Honest Company.  The Honest Company's subscription is a little different than most subscription services.  For example, The Honest Company calls their monthly subscription a "bundle" rather than a "box".  You can cancel your subscription at any time, and you can choose which items you want in your bundle rather than filling out a survey/profile and having the company choose your products (you mix a match five items from the list of products they provide).  You also have an option to add three more items to your monthly bundle- when you add three or more items to your bundle you will receive a 25% discount on those products.  The Honest Company  has three different types of monthly bundles: The Diapers & Wipes Bundle (one month supple of eco-friendly diapers and all natural wipes), which retails for $79.95; the Essentials Bundle (natural, non-toxic home and personal essentials), which retails for $35.95; and the Health and Wellness Bundle (vitamins and supplements); which retains for $39.95.  I chose to subscribe to the Essentials Bundle.

This month I chose the following items for my Essentials Bundle:
I also chose to add on a three items (at a 25% discount).  I added:

This hand soap smells amazing!!! I still have some previously bought hand soap left, so I haven't been able to try this out yet but I'm looking forward to it!!

I used this cleaner this weekend and it not only smells great but does an awesome job at cleaning anddisinfecting!!

I absolutely love this brush and base!! You just put a little bit of dish soap in the bottom, top it off with a little dab of water and then dip your brush in and clean away!!

I was nervous that this dish soap would leave a film on my dishes but it did anything but. It not only cleaned them but also gave them a shine that Ive only been able to achieve using those high priced (and toxic) dish soaps. Love this product!!!

This glass and windows cleaner has been a godsend!! Gone are the days of spraying and wiping and spraying again. Only a few sprays and wipes and your mirrors, glass, and windows are shining!

I usually hand wash my dishes but I wanted to try this product out for those times when I have too many to do by hand. I haven't been able to try it yet, but if it's as amazing as all the other products I'm sure I will love it.

I purchased these so that I could reuse the spray bottles of the multi-surface cleaner and the glass and window cleaner. I was afraid the mix would be hard to obtain but the bottle gives you no fuss directions that even a child could understand. Score!!

I absolutely love everything from my bundle this month!! Each month you can customize your bundle so you do not get the same products, or so you do get the same products- whatever your needs may be. I think next month I may switch it up to try a few more products before I make a set monthly product bundle.

Birchbox Limited Edition: In Full Bloom Box Review

I got home today to find a nice big box from Birchbox. I bought a few different things, one of which was the Limited Edition: In Full Bloom box. I have purchased other limited edition boxes from Birchbox in the past and have been very pleased, so I knew I would love this box.

One of my favorite things about Birchbox is their packaging.  They always has beautiful packaging but I must say this box, so far, takes the cake.

The Limited Edition: In Full Bloom box retails for $58.00 and is availalbe for purchase on birchbox.com.
Use coupon code WELCOMEOFFER20 to save 20% off your entire order.

Each box contains:

Cecilia Wong Skincare Anti-Aging Rose Serum Spray- 1oz ($10.00)
I am not really a "flower girl" so I was pleasantly surprised that this serum spray didn't have an over powering smell. It made my skin look fresh and dewy. A definite score! My only complaint would be that the serum comes out in more of a stream than a "mist", as the label says. I don't really count this as a product con because it's possible that my issue is my bottle- not all bottles may stream rather than mist. I may try to switch out the nozzle to see if that remedies the issue.

JUARA Tiare Jasmine Tea Bath & Shower Gel- 1oz ($3.00)
This bath and shower gel smells sooooo amazing!! I used it in the bath and it smelled amazing!! I definitely plan on purchasing this in the full size so I can go between using it the bath and the shower.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser Travel Kit ($10.00)
I was super excited to get this in the box. I have been dying to try it. And while I've purchased a lot from Birchbox lately, I have yet to pull the trigger on this one, but something tells me after trying it, it will become a regular purchase for my beauty routine.

I wasn't sure about this blush when I first opened it, it looked a little too pink for me, but after trying it I've fallen in love. It's the perfect shade of blush, and not at all as intense as it seems at first glance, which is great because you can built to the level color you would like. This blush will be great for work, when my look is much more natural, but will also work for evening, when I can play it up a little.

Soap & Paper Factory Shea Better Hand Cream in Gardenia ($18.00)
This hand cream is amazing and the packaging on both the box and tube of lotion is beyond beautiful!!  I was cautious at first because as much as I love the smell of gardenia, sometimes it's not done properly and can smell off and way too strong, but that's not the case here!  This by far is one of my favorite pieces in the box. Don't worry, if gardenia is not your scent Soap & Paper make many other scents to choose from.

tenoverten Nail Polish in Spring ($12.00)
The color of this polish is beautiful!!  I tested it out last night- the formula isn't quite as thick as other polishes, so I recommend doing two coats.  I work in an office so I am looking forward to seeing how this polish holds up to chipping.

I love everything TOCCA, especially this perfume!!  I have it in the full size bottle and always struggle to find a convenient way to take it with me on the go.  Now that problem is solved!!  I have read some other reviews on this and have noticed some recipients had issues with "floaters" in their perfume.  Don't fret, "floaters" are nothing to worry about, they are just waxy buildup inside the glass.  To rid your rollerball of "floaters" rub it between your palms for a minute or two and you'll be good to go.

TokyoMilk by Margot Elena Bon Bon Lip Balm in Rose Water ($10.00)
I have fallen in love with this lip balm!!  It light and airy but strong enough to give my lips a lot of moisture. If you're not into floral scents don't worry, although this is a rose water balm its smell is not overpowering and the scent settles down very nicely.

Votivo Aromatic Travel Tin in Rush of Rose ($12.00)
I'm not too sure about this candle.  I love Votivo candles but at first whif this candle seems a little too "rosey" for me.  Mother's Day is coming up and my mother loves roses, so I may pass it along to her.

This was one of the best Limited Edition boxes yet!!  I paid $58.00 for the box and received around $120.00 worth of products!!  What do you think of Birchbox's latest Limited Edition: In Full Bloom Box?
